Nightwatch Glyph Tool Kits Now Bind on Pickup

Just thought I would let everyone know that after the 1.2 patch, the Nightwatch Glyph Toolkits are no longer tradable, and now Bind on Pickup. What's even more annoying, they remind you of that every single time you go to roll on one, whereas the bind on pickup gear has never done so.

I just checked the item tooltip, it does not seem to say anything about being BoP.

We are talking about the ones that drop from bosses, and not the upgrade kits.

Last night, we would get a dialogue check box informed you it would be bound to you after looting it. It also said "Bound to character" in my inventory, and "Binds on pickup" in the item tooltip before looting. It doesn't say Any of that anymore, right under the name of the item?

Nope, it doesn't say that under the tooltip of the Venice Glyph Toolkit. No upgrade kit, as I don't have any spare of those in my inventory. I do recall the toolkits triggering a pop-up though when looting now that you mention it. But there's no mention of them being bound in my inventory. Will test shortly whether or not I can trade them.

Edit: Just tested by trading with a friend of mine, they are still tradeable.

Its character bound. The old ones are updated when you loot a new one, and it also get bound if you split the stack.

Trading an old stack however seems to work perfectly fine, as I've just traded back and forth a stack of 4 (mind you, didn't split them at first) between a friend and me.

huh, well that is a little annoying.

It's only BoP if you need on it.

Nope, it's BoP independent of need/greed.
