So how exactly does one generate threat other than through dps? It seems pretty clear that all the healing abilities have been dumped into blood magic and dps is spread all over the place but I haven't seen any mention of abilities that generate threat over and above the damage they do. One would think this would be necessary for any meaningful type of tanking build.

Healing: blood, fist, AR
Tank: blade, hammer, chaos Support: ele, shotty, pistol DPS: everything Tanking works like usual. There are high threat abilities and even taunts |

I'm probably going to have to unlock some nice threat generating passives and damage mitigation triggers. But I want to be able to tank with any weapon.

There are 5 passives that could be useful in the Hammer tree although only 1 increases threat, and procs on blocks
2 apply weakened- 1 blast specific, one in crits One buffs protection(?) on blast attacks One is a tanking CD 50% max health HoT on drooping below 50% health with a long ICD Other 2 tanking trees aren't available |
