Historical/fictional character- Templar, Illuminati or Dragon?
I thought this might be fun. It would kind of demonstrate how people thought of each sect- which figures (historical or fictional) idealize the aspects of each. I am only doing a couple because I am demonstrating the idea...and because I am more interested in what you guys think Add an explanation if you like.
James Bond (He always fought within the system against his version of evil)
Martin Luther King Jr.
Klaatu (Day the Earth Stood Still)
Cotillion (Malazan Books of the Fallen)
Ghandi (supported Civil disobedience- non-violent)
William the Conquerer
Tony Blair (Cherie Blair, really)
Gerard Winstanley (Look up The Diggers on wikipedia)
Che Guevara... possibly, but might also fall under the other two (manipulative and cunning, as well as zealous...)
The more I think, the more the lines blur, but that's a starting point. I may be Templar, but i don't think all Templars are "good guys", nor the other factions "bad guys". They just have different ways of getting shit done!
Adrian Veidt / Ozymandias = Dragon
Rorschach = Templar
tyler durden is an dragon.
Everyone knows that Machiavelli was an assassin and Henry Ford was a templar.

Have to add a couple more....I keep thinking of people and trying to categorize them hehe!
Templar- Tolkien, Kennedy,
Illuminati- Saruman (Lord of the Rings)
Dragon- Moses, Sun Tzu (he could also be Illuminati except he wrote copiously and shared his strategies- something that doesn't fit well with that sect).
Now my husband said something a bit startling and suggested Hitler was a Templar. I can see how it fits...but...eh...
It does get really hard to pigeonhole a person which says a lot about how difficult it will be to 'play to type'.
Simone de beauvoir strikes me as a Dragon
Warren Buffet = Dragon... At first glance I'd say he was Illuminati but when you listen to his ideals, I donno.
Paksennarrion = Templar. Kinda goes without saying I guess.
Alexander the Great = Illuminati? Or Templar? That's a hard one. He had a thirst for power, but he was supposedly such a righteous man.
