    NEW
    Issue #15; The Sleuth's Gallery features the most missions ever seen in a single Issue, including all missions from Sidestories: Further Analysis, Love & Loathing, and The Last Pagan, plus a brand-new investigation mission that’s one of our most in-depth yet!

    GENERAL
    • Default events have been added to the TextGame UI. These events will be triggered if the input does not match any other event for the current room. To create a default event, make an event with no action, target, or inventoryItem.
    • The patcher will now start the patch download after one minute of inactivity if the patch has not started already and the download selection prompt is not open.
    • Fixed an issue where the download selection prompt could reappear when launching the client after a choice has already been made.


    PVP
    Shambala
    • Fixed an issue with Shambala Champion's Caches which caused some players to receive a blue version of a Contrivance for which they already had the purple version.

    Funcom Update 1.15.5 Notes (6/15/2016)

    NEW!
    The Museum of the Occult is a brand-new feature that allows you to collect, display, and customize exhibits of monsters in your own personal Museum. Earn new rewards, including pets, t-shirts designed by members of our community, and consumables that can call upon a monster to assist you! You can even invite your friends to your Museum and let them bask in your glory.

    The Museum of the Occult may be found near Temple Hall in London. Tons of new achievements and hundreds of new Lore pieces await your discovery, agents! Good hunting!

    COMBAT
    General
    • Fixed several tooltip text issues.


    Anima Deviation
    • Increased the damage dealt by Anima Deviation. The base damage has increased by around 77.7%.
    • Anima Deviation should no longer be able to trigger multiple times from the same ability.

    This damage increase is budgeted to bridge the gap in DPS for elite abilities which have a 25 second cooldown as opposed to the ones which have a 20 second cooldown.


    Elite Vulnerability System
    • Specific Elite abilities will now provide a debuff which increases damage dealt of a specific type. For example, the Elementalism ability "Overload" will now cause affected enemies to take increased damage from Melee abilities. This new system does not function in PvP areas.
    • Updated all damage over time and proc effects to have an ability type representative of the weapon it is gained from. The purpose of this change is purely to work with the new Elite Vulnerability system.

    Here are the specifics on the new system:
    • Vulnerable to Melee: 25% damage increase for Melee abilities. 15 second duration.
    • Vulnerable to Magic: 20% damage increase for Magic abilities. 15 second duration.
    • Vulnerable to Ranged: 20% damage increase for Ranged abilities. 15 second duration.


    Weapons can only provide vulnerabilities for other weapon types. For example, Melee weapons will only be able to provide Magic and Ranged vulnerability. This new system pairs with the elite revamp and the reduced cooldowns there to ensure a coordinated group can keep these effects active over the duration of a fight.


    Elite Ability Revamp
    In the notes below, you will see changes and updates based on both the cooldowns and damage dealt by elite abilities. For this revamp, we've decided to take a step back and look at all of our elite abilities as a whole. Our focus was to ensure that the elite abilities are something you always want to use and will provide a damage increase when used in a rotation. To that end, we've rebudgeted nearly every elite ability to perform at nearly the same level of DPS over the course of an extended fight. What this results in is a cooldown reduction and damage increase for the majority of elites. However, two elite abilities were negatively affected by this update - Bombardment and Plague. Most of you are probably aware that Bombardment would be adjusted, but in the case of Plague, it turns out that it was very close to where we wanted it already. In fact, if we had left the cooldown at 30 seconds, it would have seen a damage increase. But, since Plague is responsible for one of the new Elite Vulnerabilities, we felt it was necessary to perform the cooldown reduction and damage reduction.

    I hope this helps shed light on what our goals and intentions are with this elite ability revamp.

    Shotgun
    • Point Blank: Reduced the cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt. Reduced the knockback distance to allow better melee follow-up attacks. This ability will now apply Melee Vulnerability.
    • Invasive Measures: Increased the chance to trigger to 17.5%. This ability will now perform an additional hit if they were triggered while you were already at full resources. The damage dealt is on par with the bonus damage gained from a 1 point resource consumer.
    • Shield Formation: This passive will now cause you to gain one stack of the Protection effect every two seconds. This has the nice side effect of also giving it to your nearby friends! Form the shield formation!
    • Buckshot: Increased damage dealt.
    • Crap Shoot: Increased damage dealt.
    • Kneecapper: Increased damage dealt.
    • Shotgun Wedding: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and increased damage dealt. Shotgun Wedding will now build a maximum of one stack per channeling interval. Increased the damage bonus per stack to 25%. This ability will now apply Magic Vulnerability.
    • Bombardment: Reduced damage dealt. We decided that it was better overall for gameplay to reduce the damage of Bombardment instead of applying the area of denial. We've readjusted our balance stance on this ability to assume that the majority of the attacks will hit, which resulted in the damage reduction. We felt that it was better in this case to say that Bombardment will not perform as well against targets who are mobile.


    Assault Rifle
    • Energise: This ability does not trigger and is not affected by global recharge time.
    • No Contest: Increased bonus damage to 10%. The effect gained will now last for 8 seconds.
    • Military Code: Increased resources built to 2.
    • Accuracy: Increased damage bonus to 7%.
    • Short Controlled Bursts: Increased critical hit and penenetrating hit chance increase to 4%.
    • Lethality: Each stack of Lethality will now increase damage by 1.25%
    • Veteran: Increased healing done and bonus leech effect granted when this passive triggers.
    • Improved Bursts: Increased damage bonus to 10%.
    • Slow the Advance: Increased damage dealty.
    • Red Mist: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Magic Vulnerability.
    • Shellshocker: Increased damage dealt. This ability will now provide Melee Vulnerability.
    • Re-Animator: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds. Increased healing done. While channeling this effect, your target is immune to death. Upon successfully completing the channel, you will gain a 20% increase to leech effectiveness for 6 seconds.
    • Experience: Fixed an issue that caused it to not modify leech abilities properly.


    Pistols
    • Fixed an issue which caused Double Up procs to gain twice as much benefit from mitigation debuff effects.
    • Seal the Deal: Increased damage bonus to 20%.
    • Seal the Deal: This ability will now also increase the Penetration Chance of resource consumers by 5%.
    • Above the Law: Increased the number of resources built.
    • Advantage Me: The cleanse will now trigger on any critical heal. The internal cooldown has been reduced to 2 seconds.
    • Vigilante: Will now also increase the damage of Above the Law.
    • Chain Feed: Increased damage bonus to 10%.
    • Closer: Increased the damage bonus to 10%.
    • Dirty Tricks: Increased damage dealt.
    • Gun Crazy: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Magic Vulnerability. Also, fixed an issue that could cause this ability to not deal damage in some cases.
    • Bullet Ballet: Increased damage dealt. This ability's damage no longer scales based on resources spent. Instead, this ability will consume pistol resources on all targets at the end of the channel and deal appropriate consumer damage. This ability will now apply Melee Vulnerability.
    • Pistol Love: Increased damage dealt.
    • Born Leader: Increased damage dealt and healing power.


    Chaos
    • Amor Fati: This ability does not trigger and is not affected by global recharge time.
    • Prodigal: Increased the CC effect duration reduction to 35%.
    • Fixation: Increased the trigger chance to 50%.
    • Gnosis: Increased damage dealt.
    • Paradox: Increased damage dealt.
    • From the Abyss: Increased damage dealt.
    • Domino Effect: Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt.
    • Prisoner of Fate: Reduced the cooldown to 20 seconds and increased the damage dealt. Removed the stun effect from the target while channeling. This ability will now apply Melee Vulnerability. The reason for this change is that we wanted Chaos to have access to a pure DPS elite to enable any future Chaos DPS builds.
    • Eye of Pandemonium: Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability is now affected by Anima Deviation and will now apply Ranged Vulnerability.
    • Eye of Pandemonium: Fixed an issue which could cause affected targets to end up in a permanent knockdown state.
    • Gravitational Anomaly: Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt.
    • Fever Pitch: Reduced Major Hit to provide 25% hit chance for 5 seconds. Increased the trigger chance for Fever Pitch to 15%.
    • Fever Pitch: This ability will now only have a chance to trigger once per second.


    Blood
    • Vital Fluids: Increased the chance to trigger to 17.5%. This ability will now perform an additional hit if they were triggered while you were already at full resources. The damage dealt is on par with the bonus damage gained from a 1 point resource consumer.
    • Third Degree: Increased damage dealt.
    • Coagulation: Increased the barrier power increase effect to 60%.
    • Clotting: This ability has been redesigned. It will now cause any Blood barriers you apply to instead heal the target for a percentage of the barrier you are attempting to apply if that target has an existing barrier.
    • Cardiac Arrest: Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Melee Vulnerability.
    • Plague: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and reduced damage dealt. This ability will now apply Ranged Vulnerability.
    • Expulsion: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and improved barrier strength and AoE damage dealt.
    • My Bloody Valentine: Increased initial barrier, heal over time, AoE damage, and secondary barrier strength.
    • Torture: Reduced damage dealt.
    • Gross Anatomy: Reduced damage dealt.



    Elementalism
    • Live Wire: Critically hitting will now grant a buff which causes your next hit to deal an additional damage hit.
    • Toxic Affinity: This passive will now increase the critical chance of damage over time effects by 20%.
    • Big Bang: Increased damage dealt.
    • Molten Earth: Increased damage dealt.
    • Power Line/Voltaic Detonation: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Ranged Vulnerability.
    • Whiteout: Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt.
    • Hard Reset: Reduced cooldown to 35 seconds and increased damage dealt.
    • Overload: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Melee Vulnerability.
    • Short Fuse: This ability is now instant.
    • Elemental Force: This ability will now grant 1 stack of a buff when you finish activating any damaging ability (max 1 per second). At 5 stacks, you lose all stacks and gain a 20% Critical Chance boost for 5 seconds. Buff stacks cannot be gained while this buff is active.

    Elemental Force has been a staple for a long time and in the end, we felt we couldn't move forward with improving build diversity without addressing the elephant in the room. Our initial change is to allow it to still provide a good critical increase that will stack with all other critical increases which will allow it to be useful in all types of builds. In addition, we wanted to keep the timed element so a good rotation can take the most advantage of the uptime of the new buff effect.


    Blade
    • Twist the Knife: Increased damage bonus to 4% per stack.
    • Finish the Movement: This ability will now perform an additional hit if it was triggered while you were already at full resources. The damage dealt is on par with the bonus damage gained from a 1 point resource consumer. Finish the Movement will now build an additional resource every second Focus ability.
    • Flight of Daggers: Increased damage dealt by this passive.
    • Sixth Sense: Increased damage dealt by this passive.
    • Seven and a Half Samurai: Increased damage bonus to 10%.
    • Spiral of Death: This ability should now perform its teleport effect more reliably.
    • Stunning Swirl: Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Ranged Vulnerability.
    • Four Seasons: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Magic Vulnerability.
    • Master's House: Increased cooldown to 35 seconds.
    • Silver Streak: Reduced cooldown to 35 seconds. Increased the healing per hit to 2.5%.
    • The Art of War: Reduced cooldown to 35 seconds and increased damage dealt.
    • Fatal Flourish: This ability will now grant 1 stack of a buff whenever you hit a target you afflicted (max 1 per second). At 5 stacks, you lose all stacks and gain a 20% Penetration Chance boost for 5 seconds. Buff stacks cannot be gained while this buff is active.


    Hammer
    • You're Next: Increased damage bonus to 10%.
    • Improved Strikes: Increased damage bonus to 10%.
    • Shockwave: Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Magic Vulnerability.
    • Epicentre: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and increased damage dealt. Whenever you expend a stack of Epicentre, you will gain a 5% critical power boost which stacks 4 times.
    • Eruption: Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt. Increased duration of the knockup effect to 4 seconds. This ability will now apply Ranged Vulnerability.
    • Unstoppable Force: This ability will now provide a 15% damage increase while active.
    • Raging Volcano: Reduced cooldown to 30 seconds and increased damage. While channeling this ability, you will gain a 30% movement speed increase. Each time one or more targets is hit by a pulse of this AoE damage, you gain 1 stack of a beneficial effect. This effect causes your next non-Raging Volcano attack to deal additional damage. The reasoning for this is that a lot of time is spent channeling this ability and reducing the cooldown too much would cause too much time spent using this ability in a normal rotation. Instead, we decided to keep the increased cooldown and apply the bonus damage for the longer cooldown in a new on-hit damage proc effect.
    • Forged in Fire: Reduced internal cooldown to 40 seconds.


    Fist
    • Killer Instinct: The next attack also cannot glance. Increase to 1.5% damage increase per counter stack.
    • One-Two: Increased damage dealt by the first hit.
    • Ferocity: Increased damage bonus to 4% per stack.
    • Inner Spark: Increased healing done.
    • Kindle: Increased healing done due to change to Inner Spark.
    • Bruising Blast: Increased bonus to 10%.
    • Go for the Throat: Increased damage dealt.
    • See Red: Reduced cooldown to 25 seconds and increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Magic Vulnerability. Also, fixed an issue which caused See Red to deal its bonus damage in cases where it should not.
    • See Red: The root effect is now independent of the channel and lasts 8 seconds. This ability will deal its bonus damage if this root effect ends for any reason before the channeling effect ends.
    • Gore: Increased damage dealt. This ability will now apply Ranged Vulnerability.
    • Gore: Fixed an issue which caused Gore damage to be attributed to other players when they refresh your Gore effect. This ability will now deal damage every half second instead of every second. This should cause it to perform more reliably when being refreshed by channeled abilities.
    • Fired Up: Reduced cooldown to 20 seconds and increased healing provided.
    • Salt in the Wound: Reduced damage dealt.


    Misc.
    • Sleight of Hand: Reduced the cooldown to 25 seconds.
    • Stoicism: This ability is no longer affected by the global recharge time.
    • Do or Die: Removed the root effect and reduced the cooldown to 45 seconds. This ability is no longer affected by the global recharge time.


    Auxiliary
    • Increased the damage dealt by all auxiliary weapons.


    ITEMS
    • Fixed an issue which caused several of the raid talisman's special effects to stop functioning after death.
    • Reduced the cooldown of Liberation Contrivances to 3 minutes and 2 minutes for blue and purple rarities.
    • Reduced the cooldown of Purification Contrivances to 1 minute for blue and 45 seconds for purple rarity.
    • Reduced the cooldown reduction effect from Time Thief signets to 15%/30%/45% and green/blue/purple rarities.
    • Time Thief signet will now behave more consistently in regards to the ability which deals the killing blow.
    • Time Thief signet can now only trigger once every 10 seconds.
    • Thirst and Equilibrium signets will now trigger properly when using AoE heals.
    • Fixed an issue where Insurance would not get triggered properly when removed by Hard Reset.
    • AP Injectors bought in the item shop will now allow you to bypass the AP cap. Note that you will not gain AP again from XP gain until you are under your AP cap.


    CLOTHING
    • Fixed a texture issue with the female Orochi Blacksox - Armored pants, white.


    DUNGEONS AND RAIDS
    Manhattan Exclusion Zone
    • Rose and Mei Ling have had an argument, and Mei Ling is now standing further away from Rose. This will ensure that their auras will no longer overlap.
    • Adjusted the buff circle effects in NY Raid to 125% for elite and 650% for nightmare.
    • The buff circles provided by Alex, Mei-Ling, and Rose will now provide a multiplicative damage bonus to all damage types. Each buff circle can now affect a maximum of 4 players at once.

    The buff circles were not performing as we intended in regards to damage increases to all of a player's active and passive abilities. This led to cases where players would feel forced to use certain builds. We've moved the challenge here from a build challenge to a raid coordination challenge. The buff circles will now affect all types of damage, but will now only affect a limited number of players, requiring a better allocation of where each player will stand.

    MISSIONS
    Kaidan
    • Choose your Own - This mission will now properly count for the challenge "Investigation Mission in Kaidan".


    PVP
    General
    • PvP missions no longer count against the number of side missions that can be active.
    • Players may have up to 3 PvP missions active at once.
    • PvP missions will replace side missions in the mission tracker UI when in playfields with PvP missions available.
    • PvP Uniforms will now provide an innate 33% reduction to the duration of all crowd control effects.
    • PvP Uniforms will cause you to deal less damage with elite abilities.
    • Reduced overall damage in PvP by 30%.
    • Reduced overall healing in PvP by 20%.

    The purpose of this change is to compensate for the increased damage dealt by elite abilities in the elite ability revamp. Please note that this adjustment is a starting point and we look forward to your feedback on this change.

    GUI
    • Added a new item category in the auction house for museum items.
    • The raid frame will no longer attach to the mouse pointer for movement or resize when right clicked.
    • The raid frame will no longer attach to the mouse pointer for movement when a raid member is directly clicked. This should fix some potential for confusing interactions with mouse over targeting or opening the friendly target menu.
    • Players can now switch team in raids with no raid leader by right clicking a player on a team with an empty slot and clicking "Join Team." This primarily applies to Fusang Projects, El Dorado, and Shambala.
    • Players can now request to swap teams with a player in a raid with no raid leader by right clicking the player and clicking "Swap Teams." The player in question will receive a swap request to confirm or deny the swap. Players will only be allowed to do this so many times in a given time frame, so you may wish to discuss swapping with other raid members before attempting to do so.
    • Removed some notification messages when players change teams in a raid to prevent FIFO spam.


    GROUP FINDER
    • Fixed a case where players using the Group Finder would not wind up in the same dungeon instance as the rest of their group.


    ACHIEVEMENTS
    • Fixed an issue that caused some Filth Evolved to not count towards achievements.
    • Monsters - Added a new monster kill track for Wisps. This track culminates with 1000 kills. All players will start fresh at 0 kills for this track. Please note that Padurii wisps are not a part of this track.

    Funcom Update 1.15.6 Notes (6/29/2016)

    NEW
    Celebrating 4 Years in The Secret World!
    How quickly the river of time must appear to flow, sweetlings! Beginning June 29th and lasting through July 13th, the Guardians of Gaia return to the lands! Collect new shards from their remains and enter Deep Agartha in order to summon a never-before-seen raid encounter for all-new rewards! Plus, DOUBLE AP is active for the event.


    MUSEUM OF THE OCCULT
    • Anansi has partnered with the British Museum of the Occult to produce a new Lorentzian Fabricator. This can be purchased from The Curator.
    • The Local Legends of New England centerpiece now correctly requires the Bogeyman exhibit to be upgraded, instead of the Deep One exhibit.
    • Fixed an issue that caused a special lore event in Savage Coast to use fewer locations than intended.
    • Changed the drop mechanics of the Clown Nose to be more in line with its corresponding Exhibit in the Museum.
    • Made a number of spelling and grammatical fixes to Bestiary lore.
    • Increased the drop rate of spectre lore from a specific mission boss.
    • Fixed Cadaverous Bear being incorrectly flagged to require Paragon instead of Superior Undead Bear.
    • Mnemonic Guardians now cancel their internal cooldown if their target dies before they can perform their action. This should make the guardians more useful in cases where many monsters are dying rapidly, such as the New York Raid.
    • All Mnemonic Guardians now display their internal recharge times in their tooltips.
    • Reworked the way that Mnemonic Guardian internal recharge timers are calculated:
      • Upgrading a wing's centerpiece to Classic now grants a 0.5 sec reduction
      • Upgrading a wing's centerpiece to Superior now grants a 1 sec reduction (stacking with Classic)
      • Upgrading a wing's centerpiece to Paragon grants a 1.5 sec reduction (stacking), down from 3 sec
    • The result of these changes are that the maximum obtainable reduction is unchanged at 36 seconds removed, but is now spread out across more smaller increments that are easier to reach.


    COMBAT
    Blades
    • The healing component of Forking Paths is now considered a direct heal for the purposes of triggering other abilities. This change allows for several new synergies and as such we'll be watching this one closely. If we find that this new property of Forking Paths causes it to have a negative impact on build diversity we would revert this change.


    EVENTS
    • World bosses now use a ranking system to adjust rewards:
      • There are 3 ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold.
      • These rankings are determined on a personal basis: The ranking of another player does not affect your own personal ranking
      • Failing to properly contribute to a fight will reduce a player's ranking, and may even prevent receiving any reward. Failing to achieve a reward rank will not place the reward on cooldown.
    • World boss mission changes:
      • Player wills now receive the mission for a boss on entering the boss's arena.
      • Players will be informed on entering the arena if they are still on cooldown for that boss's mission. This should make it more clear whether you will or will not receive a reward from the boss.
      • Players can still help to defeat a boss while the mission is on cooldown. If the cooldown ends while fighting the boss, the mission will automatically be added to the player before the fight finishes.
    • This system has not been added to lair world bosses - We will consider expanding it to lairs at a later time.


    DUNGEONS AND RAIDS
    Manufactory: Breached
    • The Savage Dream will now summon Filth pools regularly, even when kited.
    • Fixed an issue that caused Gaia's Vengeance to not properly increase the target's damage.
    • Gaia's Vengeance damage boost is now multiplicative.


    Eidolon of the Outer Dark
    • (Nightmare) Fixed an issue where the Eidolon could be killed while the veil was still torn. "Do not engage" is not a suggestion.
    • (Nightmare) Fixed an issue that could cause AEGIS Mass Hysteria to apply too many stacks of Insanity.


    SCENARIOS
    The Hotel
    • Effigy Y55 Cultist - The ability Shotgun Blast should no longer desync its avoidable chalk outline from its cast timer.

    Funcom Update 1.15.6 Hotfix (7/01/2016)

    EVENTS
    Deep Agartha
    • Fixed an issue that could prevent receiving the reward mission on boss defeat.
    • Custodian of Whatsits has setup shop near the Anima Well for your talisman repairing needs.
    • Incandescent Salvo no longer targets far down the branches when placing hazard zones.
    • Custodians now have a short delay after reactivating before resuming their normal behavior.
    • Made active hazard areas more visible from the 'death' branch, when returning to the fight. Remember: Look before your leap!
    • Spoils of the Hallowed Earth no longer drops flares. This should make it easier to see the Black Bullion or Marks of the Pantheon that are received.


    Guardians of Gaia
    • Drop-rate of Frenetic Shard has been increased to account for the lower availability of Kaspu Nasiru.

    Eidolon of the Outer Dark
    • Fixed an issue that could prevent It Fell from the Outer Dark - Nightmare, from properly completing.


    EVENTS

    Funcom Update 1.15.7 Notes (8/09/2016)

    GENERAL
    • Phoenician Lore #7 has been relocated.
    • Fixed Faction Racehorse not appearing in the auction house with the correct search parameters.
    • Fixed an issue with the spelling of the Snowy Quetzal pet's name in several places.
    • Updated the source section of the Blood Raven description to be more accurate.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause certain popups to appear during cutscenes.


    GUI
    • PvP missions will now be labeled as PvP Missions in the mission journal, rather than as Side Missions.
    • Added a new animation for when world domination is gained.
    • Added a new option under Hud Functionality/Notifications for disabling the world domination animation.
    • Shem of the Seething Sliver now uses the same icon as the Shem of the Lunar Metal in the Pet UI.


    COMBAT
    Fists
    • Fixed an issue that prevented See Red from using Anima Deviation on some bosses.
    • Fixed an issue with "Go for the Throat" that prevented its damage over time effect from being affected by augments.


    Chaos
    • Fixed an issue that caused Eye of Pandemonium to advance Rising Vigour.
    • Extended Fracture now correctly increases the number of targets hit by Reality Fracture.
    • Domino Effect has been re-worked in an effort to reduce its dominance in PvP while maintaining and potentially improving its efficacy in PvE. Domino Effect now deals more damage when it hits fewer targets at shorter ranges, but also has a reduced knockdown effect when fewer targets are hit. Crowd Control immune NPCs will still receive a 4 second debuff as if they had been hit by the best version of this ability's crowd control. The ability can still be used as an interrupt against the enemies it was used against in the past and its damage against single targets is improved. The ability now requires at least one target within 3 meters to hit, a second target within 5 meters to improve its knock down effect, and a third target within 7 meters to have a full 4 second knock down effect. The ability can still hit up to 6 targets, but it will now require a couple of those targets to be closer to get the full crowd control effect. This restriction will make this ability considerably less useful than in the past when used as crowd control against a single target in PvP, but when used against groups of enemies it will be just as devastating as its previous incarnation.


    Elementalism
    • Flashpoint's damage over time effect can now critically hit and penetrate.


    MISSIONS
    City of the Sun God
    • A Modest Proposal - Sentry Turrets with discriminatory AI should no longer attack players.


    Kaidan
    • Brotherly Loathe - Fixed an issue that could cause the bathhouse defense to become non-responsive.
    • Brotherly Loathe - When abandoning the bathhouse defense, there is now a 5 second grace period.
    • Brotherly Loathe - Fixed an issue that could cause the bathhouse defense to become stuck with portals up.
    • Brotherly Loathe - Ward of the Exiled will now always maintain their healing aura while there are foes within range.


    MUSEUM OF THE OCCULT
    • The Vampire centerpiece now properly reports that there are 8 exhibits in the wing, not 9.
    • Fixed an issue that caused Oni Mnemonic Guardians' heal over time abilities to be canceled by a variety of player abilities.


    DUNGEONS AND RAIDS
    Slaughterhouse
    • Ground-targeted abilities can now be used during the first phase of the Aleksei-Chetyre fight.


    LAIRS
    • Fixed an issue with Red Revere that allowed him to summon adds too frequently.


    SCENARIOS
    The Castle
    • Deathless will no longer chain multiple attacks against a single target without re-evaluating threat. This should make them easier to pull off of Survivors in Scenarios.


    PVP
    El Dorado
    • Final score points are now awarded for defending a relic or relic carrier. The point gain is approximately 125 per second while within range of any relic or relic carrier.
    • Being in the area of effect of 2 or more relics at once will now periodically purge buffs from defenders. The rate at which buffs are purged scales with how many relics are in proximity.
    • While inside the bunker, players are now Suppressed, causing heal abilities to have no effect.
    • Players inside the bunker are now marked with a skull in the Team UI.


    Fusang
    • Battlegroups have been merged together.
    • Capturing an anima well or facility, or picking up anima shards now has text on the interaction bar.
    • Fixed localization on facility capture notifications while inside Fusang for French and German players.
    • Missions no longer rotate on a timer. All prior Fusang missions, except for The Underdogs, have been removed.
    • Entering Fusang now grants you 2 new missions: Facility Offence, and Facility Defence.
      • Facility Offence requires you to capture 2 anima wells, capture a facility, and kill 15 players who are defending a facility they own.
      • Facility Defence requires you to kill 15 players while defending a facility you own.
    • When "Facility Offence"/"Facility Defence" missions are completed, they are automatically re-added to the character. This should remove the need to leave the fight to pick up a mission.
    • The Underdogs still has a 1 minute cooldown, and must be picked up manually near a deactivated custodian.
    • Dying to a faction barrier will no longer incur durability damage to gear.
    • Underdog Custodians will not target invulnerable facilities.
    • All Fusang Projects Custodians and Facility Turrets have been re-balanced with the newest player Equal Footing buffs in mind.
    • All Fusang Projects Facility Turret and Custodian upgrades now take 3 minutes to complete.
    • Facility gates can now be repaired, restoring the faction barrier and creating a fresh turret.
      • There is a 5 minute vulnerability period, starting when the turret is killed, before the repair can be started.
      • When the repair is enabled, a circular control point area will be visible just outside the gate. Five players of the faction that owns the linked facility need to stand in the control point area and remain there for 30 consecutive seconds while the gate repairs.
        • Leaving the point early, or dying, will cause the repair process to fail, and it will need to be restarted.
        • More than 5 players can stand in the control point. Extra players will not speed up the process, but may prevent it from failing if another player dies or leaves.
      • The repair control point is disabled when a hostile player or Underdog Custodian is inside the gate, or within close proximity outside the gate.
        • While disabled, the control point is hidden.
        • If a repair is already in progress, the presence of a hostile player or Underdog Custodian will not stop the repair.
    • Reworked World Domination:
      • When a faction gains control of all 4 facilities in Fusang, they begin to Consolidate Control. Consolidating Control counts down over 10 minutes.
      • When Consolidating Control finishes its 10 minute countdown, all currently online members of that faction receive Total Domination.
        • Total Domination increases damage done by 10%, healing done by 10%, XP gained from kills by 50%, and Marks of the Pantheon and Black Bullion gained from all activities by 2 and 4 respectively. Total Domination lasts 30 minutes.
        • Losing all facilities removes Total Domination.
      • If another faction interrupts Consolidating Control by taking control of a facility, all currently online members of that faction receive Favour of the Council.
        • Favour of the Council increases damage done by 2%, healing done by 2%, XP gained from kills by 25%, and Marks of the Pantheon and Black Bullion gained from all activities by 1 and 2 respectively. Favour of the Council lasts 30 minutes.
        • If any faction starts to Consolidate Control, Favour of the Council is immediately lost.
      • All prior World Domination bonuses from Stonehenge, El Dorado, Inner Facility, and Outer Facility have not been changed.
    • Fusang Domination:
      • Factions that control 2 facilities in Fusang now benefit from Minor Facility Control while in Fusang:
        • Minor Facility Control increases XP gained from kills by 10% and Black Bullion gained by 1 in Fusang.
      • Factions that control 3 facilities in Fusang now benefit from Major Facility Control while in Fusang:
        • Major Facility Control increases XP gained from kills by 25%, Black Bullion gained by 2, and Marks of the Pantheon gained by 1 in Fusang.


    FUSANG EVENTS
    Fusang now has periodically occurring events. Before an event occurs, all online players will be notified via the PvP updates channel.

    Anima Surge
    Facilities may periodically begin to house a build-up of anima. The build up will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. Factions will want to fight for control of the facility, as the faction who controls the facility when the anima surges will receive great rewards!

    Supply Drop
    Periodically, a mysterious fixer will send a supply drop to Fusang for one of the factions. This faction will want to locate and retrieve this crate, as when it is delivered to a friendly facility, it will:
    • Fully repair the defenses of that facility, including respawning the outer gate's barriers and turret
    • Make the facility invulnerable for a period of 5 minutes
    • Create an additional defensive turret inside the facility

    The other 2 factions, who hate favoritism (when it isn't aimed at them), will of course wish to locate and destroy the supply crate before it can be utilized. Destruction of the crate will reward both factions!

    GENERAL
    • Several tweaks and improvements have been made to the Kyonshi xp/loot/achievement credit mechanics based on player feedback:
      • Kyonshi will now provide achievement credit and XP in raid groups.
      • Kyonshi now provide achievement credit even if they will not provide XP or loot.
      • Fixed a bug that was causing Kyonshi to regenerate their loot drops too slowly.
      • Slightly improved the rate at which Kyonshi generate loot drops.
      • Updated the description on the Kyonshi achievements to indicate that subduing Kyonshi with an Ofuda grants achievement progress.


    GUI
    • Added a dropdown to the Mounts UI that allows sprint speed to be selected.


    MISSIONS
    Challenges
    • PvP Missions in Fusang now properly counts for challenge achievement progress.


    COMBAT
    General
    • Fixed an issue where some abilities would not deal damage towards AEGIS.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented Mnemonic Guardian Death Cultist barriers from absorbing damage correctly.

    • Facility Offence - Reduced number of kills needed to 10, down from 15.
    • Improved kill credit calculations for both Facility Offence and Facility Defence missions. Healers should be seeing a boost in mission kill credit.
    • Fixed an issue that could prevent players from being rewarded for destroying the Supply Drop.
